The iconic T.O.D urban development in Northern Hanoi receives adjusted investment policy approval
This decision is considered consistent with Hanoi's long-term urban development planning orientation with a 100-year vision.
Located in the Ring Road 3 area, right at the northern gateway of Hanoi, The InterCentral is directly connected to the stations of two important urban railway lines: Metro Line 4 and Metro Line 6. With a scale of over 42 hectares and a total investment of over 25,000 billion VND, upon completion it will meet the living and working needs of more than 18,000 residents. The project is expected to create new momentum for the real estate market in the northern part of the capital, in the context of strategic transportation infrastructure entering a phase of accelerated development.
"The City of the Future" and a Shift in Planning Thinking
In recent years, the Hanoi real estate market has witnessed a strong shift towards new growth poles, with the area north of the Red River still considered a "land with great potential" but which has not been exploited to its full potential.
In this context, the emergence of The InterCentral urban area realizes the trend of the TOD model: developing optimally dense spaces linked to vital public transportation arteries.
The project is planned according to a compact urban model, not only in terms of "quantity" but also "quality," where living spaces, working environments, and infrastructure are organized synchronously, aiming for a modern lifestyle that saves time and urban resources.
In planning zone IV.8.1, with a land area of over 42 hectares, the Hanoi City's approval of the adjustment to the investment policy for the Hateco Dong Anh New Urban Area (commercial name: The InterCentral) has strategic significance in urban development, focusing on major public transport hubs, limiting private vehicles, and minimizing emissions.
The InterCentral project is located at the intersection of Vo Van Kiet and Hoang Sa streets, offering convenient transportation connections according to the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) model.
The "DNA" of the TOD standard model
A key highlight of The InterCentral project is its direct connection to the metro system – a core element of the Transport-Oriented Development (TOD) model.
According to the plan, the project is located in the connecting area of two strategic metro lines of the capital, Metro Line 4 and Metro Line 6, creating access to large-scale public transportation.
Thanks to this advantage, The InterCentral is considered to have the potential to become a "Super Hub," a place where urban flows intersect, creating a vibrant space for commerce, services, and a modern residential community.
In fact, in many major cities such as Tokyo, London, and Singapore, TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) areas often become new centers of urban development, where real estate values, commercial activities, and urban life are all strongly boosted.
Built on a comprehensive infrastructure, the project is planned as a "mini-city" with 10 high-end apartment buildings, 2 twin towers of Grade A office complex, an international hotel, commercial townhouses, a gated villa community, and a comprehensive education and healthcare system, aiming to create a modern, civilized, and sustainable living community.
Located in a strategic position amidst the capital's development, Hateco Group's adjustment of its investment plan and product launch in the first half of 2026 affirms Hateco's capabilities and vision for sustainable urban development.
Besides the real estate sector, Hateco Group is also known as the investor of large-scale projects in logistics, industrial park infrastructure, and seaport investment such as Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park (DEEP C), Hateco Hai Phong International Container Port (HHIT), Long Bien ICD Inland Port, etc. On March 16, 2026, the Hateco Group – AMP Terminals joint venture (a member of AP Moller-Maersk Group - Denmark) was selected as the investor for the Lien Chieu container port mega-project in Da Nang with a total investment of approximately VND 45,268 billion.
For customers and investors, legal transparency and the developer's financial strength are key factors ensuring the safety of their capital. The development of The InterCentral urban area is expected to contribute to changing the face of the region and affirm Hateco Group's position as a professional and sustainable real estate developer.
